It begins with completing the manuscript and ensuring its linguistic soundness and its suitability to the house's specializations, which are limited to the novel, short story collections, translated poetry, and narrative concerned with the craft of storytelling and cinema, bearing in mind that it targets adults only. It then requires contracting a licensed literary agent in the Kingdom to protect the author's interests, submit the manuscript to the house, and negotiate on the author's behalf. After the agent accepts the manuscript, it is revised when needed and then submitted to the house, with the emphasis that self-publishing is not accepted. If the house agrees to publish, the contract is signed electronically through the agent with no need to attend in person, and the house bears the full costs of publishing without charging the author any fees. This is followed by involving the author in editing the manuscript through workshops to refine the text and ensure its quality. After publication, the house promotes the book through a launch event and a marketing plan that includes conferences and digital platforms, in addition to involving the author in the promotional campaigns. The house also submits its books to local and international awards and features them in cultural sessions to strengthen their presence.
