In 2015, Dar Melad began as a boutique publishing house devoted to enriching knowledge through cultural activities and literary events, running volunteer workshops dedicated to creative writing, before growing into a full-fledged publishing house specializing in publishing the output of the literary workshops it holds. Since then, the house has been on a continuous quest for creative works that elevate Arabic literature. In mid-2017, the house opened its first literary salon in Riyadh, a modern platform for holding writing workshops and evenings tied to the production of creative works, thereby fulfilling Melad's enduring promise: to become a true meeting point for all cultured minds and makers of creativity.
